We had a wonderful first Christmas with Abby. We drove all the way to Iowa and we were welcomed by snow and ice the whole way! Abby was a real trooper for the long car rides, sleeping in hotels, and cold diaper changes in the car. There were many firsts for Abby this trip, but most importantly she met a ton of family members who were anxious to see her. We had such a good time and our trip will not soon be forgotten. Here are a few pics of our time in Iowa.

We met Lily Straw for the first time, she is the daughter of Adam's cousin Luke and his wife Sara.

Abby loved the tissue paper in the presents.

We took Abby out to see my mom and brought her a
poinsettia. They were one of mom's favorites.
Lilly was exhausted after all the traveling, hunting, and people watching.
Merry Christmas and Happy new to you all. May you have a blessed 2010! We can't wait to see what this new year has in store for us.

Thanks for sharing your family fun & awesome snow!! I am pretty sure that the last time there was a good enough snow to sled like that here...I was Abby's age! Those pictures really made me smile! So glad you guys had an awesome trip!
She just keeps getting cuter and cuter! It looks like she met lots of wonderful friends and family on your visit. She's a lucky little girl!
