Bubbles

The other day we had fun with bubbles inside because it has been too hot to go outside and play.

Hop along Lilly

Some of you have heard and some have not, Lilly has Mast Cell cancer. She had surgery on Thursday and is recovering well. She will be sporting a cast for 2 weeks. (I have never seen Lilly so calm) The prognosis is not great as we know that the cancer has spread to her lymph system from a biopsy of a node. We aren't sure what the next step is yet, please keep her in your thoughts.

Boo Boo

Abby has taken to walking on her tip toes, I have yet to get it on video, however this is what happens when you fall into the kitchen cupboard.

Blowing Rock

We went to Blowing Rock NC for the 4th weekend. We rented a nice little condo in the mountains. A few pics from out trip.....

Bad Blogger

I know it has been too long since I posted on the blog. I will try to get better at this. We have been really busy. The three of us made a trip to Chicago for Abby's first cubs game and Abby and I went to Iowa for 3 weeks while Adam worked really hard. Here a a few pics of our trips. (not sure why some are so small)

Going to the zoo

We got a pass to the zoo this year and Abby is a BIG fan! She loves being outside and seeing all the animals. She thinks everything is a "dawgie" but we are working on that. If you ask her what a lion says she will roaoaoaor for you. She giggles when she feeds the giraffes, this is her favorite thing to do by far.

We spend most of the time pointing and saying "dooo ohhhh" which I can only assume means look it mommy!

The last time we went to the zoo Abby fell asleep in the stroller which has never happened before. She only slept 20 minutes but this is progress people! (sorry the pic is sideways)

Pooh Party in South Carolina

We had a Winnie the Pooh party for Abby's first birthday here in South Carolina. We invited all of our friends to celebrate with us and as you will see Abby put on quite a show!
