8 Months

We had a good visit at the doctor today, things are on track and we are getting excited to meet Abigail. Although, we do have a few things to do before she arrives, like get the nursery in order. Our nursery furniture actually just arrived today so we have to get it delivered and then the "nesting" begins!

Lilly could not resist she really wanted to sit by me while we were taking these shots. :)

South Carolina " Snow "

Well it snowed in South Carolina yesterday, as you can see we were totally snowed in! HA! Adam made three little snowmen out of the flurries that dusted our deck. Can you believe they canceled school for this?!?!?! Growing up in Iowa if you looked out and saw this on the ground you would not even turn on the TV or radio to see if there was a delay. Kids 'round here had a hay day!

These snowmen are A, A & a. This is what Steve (Adam's dad ) came up with for our new arrival.

Happy WINTER South Carolina!

Ultra Sound

7 Months

We got the glider for the nursery in this last week. Adam and his grandpa put it together. It is really comfortable, good thing since I have a feeling we will be using it a lot!

And the bump keeps growing.......
Our next appointment is January 7th, we start going every two weeks. The pregnancy seems to be going much quicker these days. Lots of planning and things to get ready. We have ordered the nursery furniture and are scheduled to take our birthing class and infant CPR.

Glucose and Iron

Today I had a regular check-up along with the glucose and iron test. I had to drink this orange fizzy stuff in 5 minutes and then wait one hour so they could prick my finger and run the 2 tests. I passed both tests no problem. My doctor says things are looking good, we are on track for healthy baby and healthy mommy.

Stay tuned for my 7 month picture next week.

6 Months, ALREADY!!!

Abigail is really starting to grow!

a boy, his dog, and a bird

Here are a couple shots of Adam and Lilly with a pheasant they got while we were home in Iowa for Thanksgiving. The are quite a pair and had a lot of fun. Lilly came home just beat after hunting everyday and curled up infront of the fire place.
